In this hands-on class, lead baking scientist Monica D Nye, PhD, will share secrets of how to easily prepare pastry dough and walk you through the steps for rolling, shaping, and filling your hand pies with savory and sweet combinations. During class you will work in small groups to create one savory and one sweet hand pie. You’ll be able to eat and take home your creations along with the recipes for the pastry dough and two fillings. Light snacks will be provided along with packaging to take home items.
